On February 11, 2021 we will be unveiling a mural and artworks created by Japanese artist Kaoru Shibuta, followed by a live interview between he and our director John Teply. And we have a very exciting schedule of events shaping up for that night to celebrate Japanese cultural heritage! We will kick it off with a virtual cooking class led by Chef David Edwards of NanBan PDX. Chef Edwards is known for his "renegade approach" to Japanese cuisine. https://www.nanbanpdx.com/ We will also get to enjoy some fantastic traditional Japanese folktale storytelling by Alton Chung, as well as an exciting musical performance by Yumi Torimaru of Kotori Japanese Music. https://www.altonchung.com/ https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCmCgzNyNINFRgSzJcysVkMg Tickets are on sale now — only $15 for this single event or $50 for your all-inclusive "passport" You definitely don't want to miss this!
