“The water doesn't have a horse in this human struggle. Water is one of these incredible elements on our planet that if we do nothing it will purify itself. It's not a question of what can I do to make the water clean again, it's a question of do nothing. Our planet is a distillery, and so the water will survive this. I think we get too focused on our human experience and forget that we are a part of a larger lattice that is so much better than we are. Really, even the person you despise the most is your water brother, is your water sister.”
Cannupa Hanska Luger, Interview excerpt, March 2018
